1. Booking & Payment – Covered Wagon Legal Terms

Processor. All reservations and credit‑card payments are handled securely by FareHarbor; their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to every transaction.
Prices. All prices are stated in U.S. dollars and include applicable taxes.
Cancellation / Refunds. Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, bookings are non‑refundable unless Ole Covered Wagon Tours (“OCWT”) cancels due to weather or other safety concerns.
Weather & Safety. Tours operate rain or shine. OCWT may delay or cancel a tour in hazardous conditions such as lightning, high winds, or unsafe trail surfaces. If OCWT cancels, guests may reschedule or receive a refund.

2. Pennsylvania Equine‑Liability Warning

WARNING: Under Pennsylvania law (4 P.S. §§ 601‑606), an equine activity sponsor is not liable for an injury to or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.

This notice is also posted at our loading area and on each wagon in compliance with Commonwealth statute.

3. Assumption of Risk & Participant Responsibilities

Guests acknowledge the inherent risks of horseback and horse‑drawn activities, including animal behavior, uneven terrain, and variable weather.
All riders must follow guide instructions, remain seated, and supervise children at all times.
No smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs, disruptive behavior, weapons, or drones are permitted during the tour.
Wear secure, closed‑toe footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing. OCWT is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

4. Accessibility Statement – Covered Wagon Legal

OCWT is committed to making its website and services accessible, following WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. Due to the historic and rural nature of our equipment, wagons require guests to climb three steps and cannot accommodate a seated wheelchair. If you require an accommodation, please contact us at least 48 hours before your visit so we can explore available options.

Data Collection. FareHarbor collects names, contact details, and payment data solely for reservation fulfillment and customer communication.
